The student rider is currently under threat.
However, according to the Southern Vectis site, holders of an NUS card can receive half price travel on all bus tickets and season tickets (except the night rider).

This also means that prices for Rovers and Freedom tickets should be as follows
1 Day Rover = £5
2 Day Rover = £10
7 Day Freedom Ticket = £10
30 Day Freedom Ticket = £30
90 Day Freedom Ticket = £90
Sixth formers you can buy an NUS Extra Card for £10 from August 5th 2010. This will last until 31/8/11. It also entitles you to a full range of other discounts. You will need a passport photo.
